Arusha to Tarangire

Pick up from Arusha at 07:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park for 150km (4 hours). Tarangire National Park covers an area of 2,850 square kilometres is named after the Tarangire River, which is the lifeline of the park and the primary source of water for the animals. It is famous for the mini migration during the dry season and houses the largest elephant population in Africa. Animals to look for are Impalas, Elands, Bohor reedbuck, Coke’s hartebeest, Wildebeests, and Zebras. Other common animals in the Tarangire are the Leopards, Lions, Hyenas, and Cheetah, and sometimes one might see Black Rhinos. Over 545 species of birds, including Lovebirds, Yellow-collared, etc. The picnic lunch will be served in the wild and evening drive toward camp/lodge for overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha

Early morning breakfast, check out from camp/lodge, and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area; the distance and the drive will depend on the location you stayed in the previous night. The Ngorongoro Crater is located in the eastern rift valley, forms the largest intact caldera in the world. About 600m deep, the Ngorongoro crater is the best place to see and experience the wildlife of East Africa. We start our descent for 6 hours of game viewing and enjoy packed picnic lunch with the views of Lake Magadi, which is at the centre of the crater and usually filled with high waters and attracting the Pink Flamingos and other water birds. The Crater is also famous for the sighting of Black Rhinos due to its thick vegetation. After completing the thrilling Safari, we will head back to Arusha, and drop off will be around 17:30.

Closest International Airport is Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), which is 50KM from Arusha. If you cannot find a feasible flight there then you can also fly to Dar es Salaam Airport (DAR) or Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) and then fly Arusha Domestic Airport (ARK). We will suggest domestic flights.

A transfer from and back to the airport can be included with an extra cost. The price which we offer is the same as the taxi you hire at the airport.

Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost. Our prices are cheaper than the online prices that you can find on various websites.
