Mbali Mbali Tarangire River Camp is set within 25,000 hectares of the concession area, included on the land is a branch of the Tarangire River itself, which the camp overlooks. The property is an excellent location for game viewing since it is only 3.5km from Tarangire National Park's main entrance.
OVERVIEW:
Traditional grass thatching adorns the roof of the main lodge structure, set off the ground on an elevated deck. The airy lounge boasts ample seating in a relaxing open-air environment. The dining area, where culturally inspiring meals are served, consists of simple safari style seating and the elevated position allows for excellent views over the riverbank below.

THE LODGE/CAMP:
The dining and lounge areas are married into an excellent bonfire area and game viewing deck overlooking the same stunning views. The lodge’s small, informal gift shop offers the nearby Maasai villages families a chance to sell some of their handmade wares.
ROOMS:
The spacious tents have been placed on large raised wooden platforms under a thatched roof, giving excellent views over the Maasai plains, the forest and on a clear day even Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Inside they're simply but stylishly decorated, featuring en suite flush toilets and showers and 24-hour electricity. The tents come in three categories: Standard Safari rooms, Family Safari rooms and a Deluxe Safari room. Standard and Deluxe Safari rooms both have a four-poster bed and private furnished balcony, with the Deluxe Safari room offering views of the river, an outdoor shower and bath as well as an indoor shower. It's also built around a large baobab tree, giving it extra character.
QUICK INSIGHTS:
If you're lucky, you can spot Mount Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro rising on the horizon (on a clear day, weather permitting).
Plenty of Wildlife activities around the camp.
