THE LODGE/CAMP:
The elegant tents built on wood platforms with a private terrace have Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley views. The rooms will have a king-sized bed or two single beds and be en-suited with bathroom and shower.
ROOMS:
The En-suite tents evenly spread out to create a sense of privacy. The decor is beautifully simple with wooden floors, four-poster beds and wrought iron furniture. It is possible to see Oldonyo Lengai, a mountain revered by the Maasai on evident days. The private veranda, complete with directors’ chairs and a coffee table, is the perfect spot to savour this picture.
QUICK INSIGHTS:
The excellent location between Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park means double the game drives - and hopefully a few more ticks on your wildlife list.
Maramboi is not necessarily focused on the personal service associated with smaller camps as they have 46 rooms to manage, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll love it.
