There are 80 luxury chalet-style twin rooms at Ol Tukai Lodge, all with an uninterrupted view of the wetlands or Kilimanjaro. Stylish and comfortable, the rooms have private bathrooms and individual terraces. They are equipped with safes, fans, tea, and coffee counters. Two rooms at Ol Tukai Lodge have been designed according to EU standards to accommodate physically challenged guests.
QUICK INSIGHTS:
The lodge opened its doors in 1996, on the original setup for the film crew who shot Snow at Kilimanjaro in 1948 starring Gregory Peck, Susan Hayward and Ava Gardner – an adaptation of The Snows of Kilimanjaro and Other Stories, a compendium of short stories authored by Ernest Hemingway that was published in 1961.
