Arrival at Arusha

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK | ON THE PLAINS

Pick up from the Hotel you will be staying in Arusha or from the JRO airport in the morning and the drive to Serengeti National Park. It's about 6-7 hours of nongame viewing drive to Central Serengeti with packed lunch via Ngorongoro. On arrival, you will be doing late afternoon game drives till the park closes, trying your luck for Big 5, then heading to camp/lodge for the overnight stay with dinner.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK | WHERE THE BIG FIVE ROAM

Wake up early morning and have breakfast in the camp/lodge and depart on the stunning drives in Central Serengeti with Packed lunch from accommodation to witness great herds of buffalo, elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, Kongoni, impala, and Grant's gazelle. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains. Game Drives till evening and return to camp/lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK | WILDLIFE HAVEN

Wake up early morning, have a good breakfast, and depart Serengeti with checkout from the accommodation. You will have an en-route game drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The morning game drives in Serengeti, spotting as many animals, including Big 5 and other wildlife. Then you will be heading towards Ngorongoro. Staying overnight in Karatu/on Ngorongoro crater (depends on your preference of accommodation). Dinner and overnight rest for exploring the crater tomorrow.

NGORONGORO CRATER | AMPHITHEATER OF ANIMALS

With early departure after breakfast, depart to Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into the crater for 6 hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the soda lake and enjoy viewing a variety of birdlife. Ascend the crater, which is a 2000ft deep crater, to depart to Lake Natron. You can have a 5 hours crater tour and 30 min each to descend and ascend. Dinner and overnight at your choice of accommodation.

LAKE NATRON | SODA LAKE IN TANZANIA

Breakfast and head to Lake Natron - a mineral-rich soda lake that is the breeding ground for thousands of Flamingos. It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a high active volcano in the Rift Valley, a climbing activity. Head from the lake to the Engero Sero waterfalls, visit this to have a sight of water flowing over craggy rocks into a natural pool, picnic lunch in between and head to the choice of accommodation for a hot dinner and rest overnight.

LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK | BIRD PARADISE

Breakfast and head to Lake Manyara NP, known for its Tree Climbing Lions, which is specific to this region, the lake is a seasonal home to the large Flamingo Colony and many other bird species. Elephants, Buffalos, Hippopotamus, Guenons, Banded Mongooses and numerous types of Gazelles and Antelopes are also a standard view near the shore. It is a fascinating game viewing experience with a picnic lunch between and head to the chosen accommodation for dinner and overnight stays.
