Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is a luxurious safari lodge located in Tsavo West National Park, Kenya. The lodge is situated overlooking a waterhole and is surrounded by the Chyulu Hills, which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

OVERVIEW:

The guests will be enchanted by the classic stone design and views of elephants, buffalo and other plains game drinking and cooling off in the waterhole. Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge was the first safari lodge to be built in a national park in Kenya. It was originally constructed in 1962 and has since been renovated and updated to offer modern amenities while maintaining its original charm.

THE LODGE/CAMP:

Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is easily accessible by road or by air. The lodge is approximately 240 km from Nairobi and can be reached by a 4-hour drive or a short flight to the nearby airstrip. As you enter your room or suite at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, you feel the ancient stillness of Kenya’s Tsavo West National Park wash over you.

The 56 guest rooms including five suites are located throughout the classic volcanic stone lodge, either in a two-storey block overlooking the water hole, a series of charming cottages, or in a lodging of luxury suites. Offering views of the water hole or Chyulu Hills. Exceptionally spacious accommodations are beautifully appointed with natural stone walls and locally inspired furnishings, fabrics and artwork.
