Start the Arusha city tour in the morning. The city has a beautiful backdrop of Mt Meru and offers a completely different experience from the rest of Tanzania. We start the tour from your hotel in Arusha:   

1) Arusha Declaration Museum - The museum reveals the history of Tanzania while it was under self-reliance policies.  

2) Boma Natural History Museum - Housed inside an old German military post, this museum has all artefacts from the Arusha region that introduce you to Tanzania's history, culture, and wildlife.  

3) Meserani Snake park - A prominent attraction in the city tour is the Meserani Snake Park. The park has a variety of snakes, from the Black and Green Mamba to Egyptian Cobra. It also provides thrilling activities like holding a snake, feeding crocodiles, and touching baby crocodiles.  

4) Massai Market - located near the clock tower, the Massai market is heaven for street shoppers. Have a pleasant walk in the vibrant market as you shop for handicrafts and beaded jewellery and enjoy local delicacies like Ugali and a local beer.   

After the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. You can just choose to hire a vehicle and driver and pay the entrance fees directly.
